Introduction to Lean Management

Course Overview:

This course offers a general understanding of the lean management philosophy in managing wastes in the manufacturing and service organisations.  Waste (“muda” in Japanese) has many forms for instance; material, time, idle equipment, and inventory are some examples. Lean management is an applied philosophy that many have adopted to acquire the flexibility needed to meet new competitive challenges, eliminating waste and enhancing production speed.
